At the 2025 NOVALUXIA User Leaders Summit held in Manila, barangay representatives, young entrepreneurs, and digital creators from across the country gathered to discuss how the digital economy can create meaningful opportunities for everyday Filipino families.

Industry observers see the event as a milestone in the rise of “community commerce” in the Philippines—an approach that emphasizes not only business growth but also social inclusion and talent development.
During his opening speech, JR, NOVALUXIA Head of Marketplace, said the company’s mission is to ensure that “technology and opportunity reach every individual.”
“There are so many capable Filipinos who simply lack opportunities to be recognized. We want to give learning, growth, and income back to ordinary people through our platform,” he said.
From Digital Tools to a Talent-Building System
Data shared during the summit showed that NOVALUXIA has partnered with nearly 100 barangays and trained more than 3,000 community members across Metro Manila and nearby provinces. These programs aim to build digital entrepreneurship and e-commerce skills, allowing more families to participate in the digital economy for the first time.
JR emphasized that these efforts form part of the company’s long-term strategy. “We believe true progress starts at the grassroots. When families, communities, women, and young people are empowered, the nation’s digital economy gains a stronger foundation,” he said.
Advancing Equal Opportunities for Women and Creators
At the summit, NOVALUXIA introduced several initiatives to expand inclusion and access within the digital economy. The NOVA-LIGHT Women Empowerment Program will offer training and flexible work opportunities for mothers and women in communities.
The company also announced the launch of the NOVA Leadership Institute, which will provide continuous learning and career pathways for team leaders and high-potential users. Alongside this, the Creator Incubation Hub will support local digital creators with branding and content development.
According to NOVALUXIA, these programs share one goal—“to empower ordinary individuals to be trained, trusted, and able to transform their own lives.”
A Three-Year Vision for Sustainable Growth
As part of its newly released 2026–2028 Strategic Vision, NOVALUXIA committed to:
• Establish 100 User Operation Centers in 50 cities nationwide;
• Enable one million households to participate in the digital economy; and
• Collaborate with local brands to generate jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Industry analysts note that NOVALUXIA’s approach goes beyond e-commerce innovation. It demonstrates a strong sense of social responsibility by transforming digital participation from mere consumption into meaningful economic and personal development—giving more Filipinos the chance to grow and be recognized.
Empowering the Digital Generation
Amid the Philippines’ ongoing digital transformation, NOVALUXIA’s community-driven model offers a new direction for inclusive growth.
More than just a business platform, it has evolved into a movement—one that opens doors of opportunity for ordinary Filipinos and champions the idea that talent is born in communities, and can grow from them too.
