NOVA-BARANGAY PROJECT │Village Program: Ground-Level Co-Creation with Local Leaders

Highlights from the Signing Ceremony

The signing event was held at the Barangay San Isidro Village Hall, with more than 20 attendees, including key leaders from NOVALUXIA’s team, the Barangay Captain, council members, and active community leaders.

The official handshake between NOVALUXIA's representative and the Barangay Captain marked the beginning of a promising collaboration. The signed MoU lays the foundation for cooperation in areas such as trial user recruitment, digital literacy training, and long-term community engagement initiatives.

On July 25, 2025, NOVALUXIA and Barangay San Isidro officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly launch the “Community Co-Creation Program.” This partnership marks a significant milestone in the integration of digital platforms into grassroots community development. It represents a concrete step forward in realizing NOVALUXIA’s mission to build a truly bottom-up, inclusive, and locally empowered digital ecosystem in Southeast Asia.

“Bringing technology into the heart of the community, and empowering villagers through the platform” — this is the core vision that NOVALUXIA strives to deliver.

Following the signing, NOVALUXIA’s HR Manager, Rochelle, delivered a detailed presentation on how the platform works—specifically highlighting the Group Buying + Community Bonus mechanism that allows local residents to generate additional income through daily purchases and peer referrals.

The session sparked considerable interest among the village officials. During the Q&A, many inquired about the platform’s registration process, earning structure, and long-term support, leading to a lively and insightful exchange.

Real-User Testimonial from a Nearby Barangay

To enhance trust and understanding, a user representative from another pilot barangay shared their personal experience. By placing orders and inviting others to join the platform, they were able to earn an extra ₱3,000 per month—an amount that made a noticeable difference in their household income. This real-life story resonated strongly with attendees and reinforced the program’s value and feasibility.

The Barangay Captain expressed strong optimism during the event:

“We’ve long searched for a project that not only delivers real economic value but also brings our community together. NOVALUXIA is the first platform we’ve seen that enables villagers to participate directly in building a shared future—from the bottom up.”
